Krystal is the talented head chef and owner of Krav’n Something Sweet, a delightful home-based dessert studio nestled in the sunny haven of Deerfield Beach, FL. Her passion for baking ignited over 20 years ago when, at the tender age of six, she received her first Easy-Bake Oven. Growing up, Krystal often found herself in the kitchen, baking alongside her aunts during holidays or simply for the joy of it. Some of her fondest memories are of watching her Auntie Lois expertly craft sweet potato pies and 7UP Pound Cake for various occasions. Auntie Lois remains a cherished source of inspiration in Krystal’s baking journey.
Krystal's heart belongs to southern-style baking, with 7UP Pound Cake being her absolute favorite. This cake, bursting with citrus-y lemon flavors, epitomizes the vibrant and comforting essence of southern desserts. Krystal is dedicated to creating cakes and desserts that are as visually stunning as they are delicious. In 2022, she took a bold step forward in her culinary career by attending culinary school and earning a professional certification as a Head Baker and Pastry Chef. She revels in the joy that sweets bring to people of all ages, uniting family and friends with each delightful bite.
